Benton Civitan Club 2nd Annual Circle of Friends Program

The Benton Civitan Club program offers a wide variety of opportunities for individuals and businesses alike to become involved with Civitan Services through volunteering or service and product or financial sponsorships. Circle of Friends sponsorships provide year-long exposure for the sponsor and opportunities include the 2007 Civitan Club Golf Tournament, the Antique Appraisal Fair, Drive Through BBQ, Turkey Jam and many holiday events.  Package sponsorships are also available that give sponsors special bonuses and rewards.

11th Annual Civitan Golf Tournament

The 10th Annual Civitan Golf Tournament is a 4 man scramble with morning and afternoon flights. Golfers are treated to lunch, and drinks and snacks are served throughout the day. "Thank You" gift bags and prizes are awarded at the end of the day. The cost is $50 per person or $200 for a team.

2nd Annual Antique Appraisal Fair

This event is modeled after PBS' hit television show, "Antique Roadshow". Antique owners will be invited to bring their valuables to the event and antique appraisers will appraise items according to category. Ticket price is $20.00 and is good for 3 items.

4th Annual Drive Through BBQ

Civitan Services is well-known in Saline County for our outstanding BBQ! Every year Chef Darrell Peters prepares 400 pounds of pork butt and 300 pounds of chicken plus beans, coleslaw, bread and a dessert for all to enjoy. All the food is served in convenient take-out boxes to drivers using the Civitan Center's circular drive. This year the event will be the big summer kick-off.

3rd Annual Turkey Jam

Thanks to some amazing celebrity guests, Turkey Jam has quickly grown into a favorite among our clients.  All the special education classes in Saline County are invited to join the Civitan preschool kids for an all-day fall festival designed just for them.  Each fall, the Civitan Club recruits a few local celebrities, creates a few safe and accessible carnival-type games of skill and designs a few fun activities like face painting and a petting zoo to enter entertain the guests.
