Antique Appraisal Fair

4th Annual Antique Appraisal Fair held August 22, 2009 in the Christian Life Center of Benton’s First United Methodist Church. The event is set up very similar to the popular PBS show, "Antiques Roadshow." The public paid $5 per appraisal for one of our qualified appraisers to tell them a little history on the item and what it would sell for in our area. We also had many venders set up around the CLC selling everything from antiques to jewelry to arts and crafts and much more. There was a silent auction set filled with donated antiques and an old fashioned soda fountain that helped us to profit over $3500 this year.
