Civitan Services' Adult Program and Community Services
supplement each other. Community Services has two service components:
Supported Living and Supported Employment.
People with developmental disabilities also have goals for themselves, but reaching
them is not that easy. Civitan Services’ Community Services program helps our clients
realize their hopes and dreams and fulfill their own vision of a successful life
within the community. The end result of skills learned in the
Adult Program, Community Services has two service components:
What is a Waiver? and Supported Employment.
Each of these services, Supported Living and Supported Employment, may be utilized
separately or together. A person may also choose to be enrolled full-time or part-time
in the Adult Day Program while in either of the Civitan Community Service programs.
Combining these services offers a person a choice of services to meet their specific
needs and provides an extra benefit of all services being coordinated by one inclusive
organization that functions as a team. Civitan’s customized software program, Koine,
allows each staff member immediate access to service documentation and centralized
client information.
Civitan Services’ Community Services program provides personalized service and 24-hour
availability to our clients. Just because the work day ends, doesn’t mean that life
stops. We are there for our clients any time, day or night as the need dictates.
Every member of our team is intimately familiar with each client and completely
dedicated to their happiness and well-being.
